Have been home for a while actually. But I'm also very much uninspired and not much into the internet world at the moment. My holidays were absolutely fantastic, I had a great time with my friends, met some guys when we went out, saw the most beautiful sights, and I shot some very cool photographs, which I'll put up here soon (well a few, not all 514 of them :P). When I got home and felt bad because everything is so boring at home. But this week I started uni again and it's been a good week. Tough but interesting, class-wise. I'm doing Neuro-psychology and we're all about the brain. So now I have to learn all the anatomy of the brain, which is mostly in latin. So I've been showered with new words I'm supposed to remember. Also, on thursday, I dissected a human brain. No I'm not kidding. It was a special experience and I thought it was very interesting and I had fun doing it. Especially when we were pulling out all the veins haha. Outside school has also been fun. On tuesday I arrived and went into the city with a friend to buy a present for another friend, who was celebrating her birthday that evening. She stayed over for dinner and then we went to the party, which was good. On friday, she also had dinner at my place and I showed her my holiday photos. Then we had a party of a girl who is going to Peru soon, and this was her goodbye-party. There were a lot of people there and I talked to a lot of people I didn't know before. And even went home with a guy afterwards. Not boyfriend-material unfortunately. (oops I just remembered he might be reading this, so hiya Sven *waves*) Yesterday I was mostly tired, and went to my grandma's birthday. We had the best present. 100 photos from our digital camera printed out and put in a nice book. In the end I wanted to keep it myself :P Today I got up late and haven't done much after that. Maybe I'll go skating or something and I think we're having a barbecue tonight. So that's all for now. Tata!

I don't know if I'll get the chance to update before I leave for holidays on monday... so I'm leaving you all a message now. I'm off to Croatia with 6 of my girlfriends and we are going to have a wonderful time :D So I'll talk to you all after I get back on August 25th!! baaye!

I just updated the 'graphic battles' page with my recent battle against Larissa. I also put up my unfinished battle with Rayne since I doubt we'll ever finish it. But we got to 7 rounds and it's a pretty good battle.
Also, I made the weirdest piece of art yesterday. I was working on new brush sets (which reminds me... I should put those up too :P) and stamped some brushes randomly on a white page, just to see what they looked like. 
Then I put up some brushes I recently downloaded from Daniela with them, and suddenly I kinda liked the way my black and white page was looking... so I added pictures, played with colors and added some of Leo's brushes... and ta daah... 'So this is you' was born. What a strange way to work.

I love that bit of lyric, I just can't help myself :P As you can see, new layout. I'm hoping everything looks right now, because I'm really too tired of it all to fix anything anymore. I spent too much time trying to find a proper tagboard. This one's still not right but at least it seems to work. I've joined a lot of fanlistings I should have joined a long time ago. And I cleaned up the affiliates page and added new affiliates. I'll be adding a battle I finished against Larissa. But I'll be adding it later, so look out for that. Let me know what you think of the layout!

Wow... I thought I was finally a little on time with updates... looks like I was wrong lol! But I do have 3 new pieces to show you today. The first is for a contest at ARTmotion, and is called 'Safe'. It's kind of an experiment with this new style I've been seeing all around. 
The second one was for a contest that was over at the time I finished the piece, but it was fun to make so that doesn't matter. It's called 'Perfect Harmony', and the lyrics are from Within Temptation. The third, shocking, actually features a male! Lol it's been a while huh. It's Adrien Brody and the piece is for the contest at Courage Sigh. I feel like this piece is missing something... but I can't find out what I'm supposed to add, because everything I try makes it look overly full.
Our main computer is working again so I'm sitting more comfortably. But I've been away from the computer a little because I've been working and reading Harry Potter. I swear these books are so much fun to read... I just don't get tired of it :D It's so good to finally be able to read books of my own choice again. When I study, I already have so many books to read for uni I just never feel like reading for myself anymore... but now I've finished the Da Vinci Code, Harry Potter and 'Woede' in just about 3 weeks.
