I sometimes participate in graphic battles at The Butterfly café and ARTmotion. The idea is that one artist makes a graphic, which can be about anything. The other artist then creates another piece inspired by this piece. For these battles, the rule was to keep a part of the previous volley (each piece is called a volley) in the next. There is no winning or losing a battle, it is just for fun.
If you want to take a look at one of the battles, just click the link and a pop-up window will appear. The title will state which round you're looking at and who made the piece. To go to the next round, click on the piece.

Well well, I had the honor to be fighting against/with one of my best friends on the web, and a very talented artist at that, Salomé. This was my first battle and I had a lot of fun with it. My favourite round of Salomé's is round 8, and my favourite one of myself is round 1.

Another very talented artist I got to battle with. Ilaria and I go way back in admiring each others' work, and we're good friends as well. Her volleys were very inspirational to me, I think mine got better as the battle went on. My favourite one of Ilaria's is round 7, because the manipulation is just flawless. My favourite one of my own is round 10, I liked round 8 too, but round 10 has my own writing on it and I like it.

Yes, Larissa... she is something this girl. We talk mostly on the ARTmotion forum... and we've become good friends, 'wives' even :P As she is also a talented artist I was happy to be in a battle with her. And see here the result. My favourite round of Larissa's is round 10. My own is harder to decide. It's either round 5 or round 9.

This battle was abandoned halfway through. These are the rounds we did get to do. Rayne is a unique artist and I really loved battling her.
